Ricardo Velasco Trujillo, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Clemson University, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Ricardo held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota from September 2021 to January 2024, and was a Mellon Engaged Scholar Initiative Post-Doctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin from May 2020 to August 2021. Additional education includes a Graduate Certificate in Cinema Studies from La Trobe University (2005-2006) and a Bachelor of Music with a major in Composition and Production and a minor in Sound Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (1999-2006).
