Marjan Sepassi has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Starting in 2002, Marjan worked as a Research Assistant at the Arizona Cancer Center. From 2004 to 2007, Marjan served as a Research Specialist at The University of Arizona. In 2007, Marjan joined CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacist/Pharmacy Graduate Intern and continued working there until 2011.
In 2008, Marjan interned at Pfizer Global Research and Development. In 2011, Marjan returned to Actelion, now Janssen Pulmonary Hypertension, as a Medical Communications Manager and later became the Director of Medical Affairs, a role held until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Marjan worked as a Sr Director of Field Based Medicine at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Pfizer.
In 2020, Marjan joined CiVi Biopharma, Inc. as the Executive Director of Medical Affairs, and then transitioned to the role of Vice President of Medical Affairs at Clene Nanomedicine in 2021. Lastly, in 2023, Marjan became a Member of Chief.
Throughout Marjan's career, they have gained extensive experience in medical affairs, research, and pharmacy.
Marjan Sepassi completed their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in the year 2003. Marjan then went on to obtain their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the same university, completing it between 2006 and 2010.
