Chanel Lim

Chanel Lim has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chanel currently serves as the Head of People Operations at Clermont Group, a leading private investment group in Asia. In this role, they oversee HR functions for the group's businesses in Healthcare, Financial Services, and Aerospace.

Prior to Clermont Group, Chanel served as a Board of Directors member at Children's Wishing Well, a non-profit organization that supports children and youth from low-income families. Chanel contributed to providing a range of services to meet the educational and daily living needs of beneficiaries.

Chanel also held the position of Chief People Officer at GoBear, Asia's leading financial supermarket. In this role, they empowered consumers by providing them with knowledge, tools, and financial services.

Before GoBear, Chanel worked at Willis Towers Watson in various roles. Chanel served as a Director responsible for key clients in the region and as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in the Human Capital and Benefits division. Earlier in their career, Chanel worked as a Pension Consultant, providing benefits consulting support to clients in areas such as financial modeling, reporting, administration, and employee communications.

Chanel Lim completed a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARC) from 1996 to 1998 for pre-university studies. Chanel also completed their high school education at Chong Hwa Independent High School from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Advanced Certificate in Practical Business Law from Singapore Management University in 2021 and Insights for Innovation from IDEO U in 2017. Chanel also holds certifications in Cert SCI (General Insurance) and Personal General Insurance from Singapore College of Insurance Ltd.
