Lamont D. Dodson

Lamont D. Dodson, CPM, has extensive experience in security management and law enforcement education. Currently serving as Chief at Cleveland Metropolitan School District since July 2018, Dodson has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Chief and Captain, where responsibilities included the management of security operations for numerous school-based officers and event-related security staffing. Additionally, Dodson serves as a Private Police Instructor at Cuyahoga Community College and previously managed a response team for APEX SECURITY GROUP INC at Cleveland Browns, overseeing over 100 officers during game days. Dodson's educational background includes ongoing studies in Public Safety Management at Cleveland State University, along with multiple degrees from Cuyahoga Community College in Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice.
