Marilyn B. Cassidy

Marilyn B. Cassidy is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the judiciary and prosecutorial sectors. Serving as a judge for the Cleveland Municipal Court since January 2007, Marilyn has focused on misdemeanor crimes and civil cases, initiating a Specialized Docket for Survivors of Human Trafficking in 2014 and developing a dedicated domestic violence docket. Prior to this role, Marilyn worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Office of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor from 1992 to 2007. Marilyn began their career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Hospital from 1976 to 1982 while pursuing legal education at Cleveland State University, where a Juris Doctor degree was earned. Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University.
