Anthony Long

Anthony Long has a diverse range of experience in the field of information technology. Anthony currently holds the position of Senior Director of IT at Cleveland Public Library, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Anthony worked at Breakthrough Public Schools, where they held various roles including Senior IT Manager, Technical Support & Service Delivery from 2020 to 2022, IT Manager from 2016 to 2020, and IT Technician in 2016. Anthony also has experience as an Information Technology Intern at North Akron Community House from 2015 to 2016 and as an Operations Assistant at Downtown Akron Partnership from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Anthony worked as a Computer Aide at Akron UMADAOP from 2009 to 2013.

Anthony Long obtained a Master's Degree in Computing and Information Systems from Youngstown State University. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Interactive Media Technology from Stark State College. Anthony also holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in Information Technology from Youngstown State University.

In addition to their formal education, Anthony Long has acquired several certifications. Anthony is certified as a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals. Anthony also holds certifications from the Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1) as a Certified Linux Administrator and as a Linux Essentials (LE-1) professional. Furthermore, they are a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA and has obtained various certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner ce Certification, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification, CompTIA Security Analytics Professional – CSAP Stackable Certification, CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Certification, CompTIA Project+ Certification, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification. Additionally, they have certifications from Microsoft, including MTA: Security Fundamentals and MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals. Furthermore, they hold the CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician and CompTIA IT Fundamentals certifications.
