Jane Hargraft is currently the Chief Development Officer at The Cleveland Orchestra. Jane has held this position since April of 2019. Prior to their current role, Hargraft served as the Vice President of Development for the Seattle Symphony from October 2011 to April 2019. In this role, they led a staff of 22 and inspired more than 40 volunteers to raise $15-20M annually to support operational and endowment goals for the Symphony.

Hargraft also has experience with Opera Atelier, where they served as the General Manager from November 2007 to October 2011. During their time in this role, private funding increased by 27%, subscription by 30%, renewal rates from 62% to 80%, and they established new processes and procedures that resulted in governance, administrative and financial robustness for the company. Hargraft was also responsible for the company becoming cash positive for the first time in a decade.

Before their role at Opera Atelier, Hargraft served as the Director of Development for the Canadian Opera Company from January 2003 to November 2007. Jane began their development career as the Development Manager for The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall from January 1999 to December 2003.

Jane Hargraft completed a BA (Honours) in Political Studies at Queen's University. Jane then completed a Higher School Certificate at Trinity College School.

Jane Hargraft reports to André Gremillet, President & CEO. They work with Lauren Generette - Director of Instrumental Pathway Programs, Justin Holden - VP, Communications, and Ryan Buckley - VP, Digital & Technology. Some direct reports include Beth Elliott - Campaign Manager, Megan Hall - Director of Development Operations, and Mark Litzler - Director of Institutional Giving.
