Shannon Kehoe

Shannon Kehoe has a diverse work experience. Shannon is currently the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Cleverbridge since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Women in AI Ambassador for Germany, where they were responsible for overseeing all operations in the country and organizing industry panel discussions. Shannon also held a position as a Member of the Georgia Tech MS Analytics Advisory Board starting from March 2020.

Shannon has extensive experience in the field of data science. Shannon worked as a Lead Data Scientist at troy from December 2021 to March 2023, and prior to that, they were a Senior Data Scientist within the same company from June 2021 to December 2021. During their time at dtms GmbH from August 2019 to May 2021, Shannon worked as a Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing. Shannon made significant contributions, including revamping the data preprocessing system and developing an algorithm to optimize customer inquiry classification.

In addition to their roles in the AI and data science field, Shannon has had notable positions with Women in AI. Shannon served as the City Lead for Frankfurt am Main from March 2020 to January 2021, where they organized events and talks to promote gender diversity in AI and attract more women to the field.

Prior to their involvement in AI and data science, Shannon pursued their graduate studies while working as a Graduate Student at Georgia Institute of Technology. During this time, they also worked as a Category Insights Manager for INVISTA, where they developed data products and constructed an analytics capability. Shannon also gained experience in the retail industry, holding various positions at The Home Depot, including Senior Analyst and Strategic Experience Analyst.

Shannon started their career as a Research Analyst and Student Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they conducted research on immigration attitudes and policies in Europe.

Shannon Kehoe pursued their higher education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2011 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in International Affairs and German, along with a minor in Economics. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Analytics, focusing on the Analytical Tools Track, for the period of 2017 to 2019. In terms of additional certifications, Shannon acquired the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in December 2020, and the Professional Scrum Master I certification in February 2020.
