Senior Software Engineer at Clever Devices

Carmine Sampogna began their work experience in 2011 as a Software Engineer at InterKnowlogy. During this time, they worked with in-house and client teams to develop WPF applications for clients in healthcare and accounting industries. Carmine also played a role in reducing UI work time by creating reusable controls and styles, and contributed to the development and testing of an in-house employee feedback system using ASP.

In 2014, Carmine joined Bytemark, Inc. as a Windows Developer. Here, they were responsible for developing the Windows Phone version of the company's mobile ticketing software for public transit agencies. Carmine worked on planning, developing, and testing client apps, including Cap Metro, NY Waterway, UP Express, and Transit GO Ticket. Additionally, they designed and implemented a proprietary mobile ticketing solution using the Windows Phone 8 / 8.1 SDK.

In 2016, Carmine embarked on a side project turned startup attempt at INfur. As a Software Engineer, they designed and implemented the backend of INfur Lunch, an app that helped co-workers decide on where to get lunch based on their preferences and who was going. Carmine integrated Foursquare API and Azure WorkerRoles, secured the API with OAuth and bearer tokens, and utilized WebAPI and EntityFramework.

Most recently, in 2018, Carmine joined Clever Devices as a Software Engineer. In this role, they worked on various software solutions for public transit agencies. Carmine was involved in creating a product in C# to monitor and assist bus drivers on shuttle buses. Carmine also contributed to the design and development of a new product using C# and SQL, which correlated raw location and ridership data from a bus to a transit schedule.

Carmine Sampogna's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they attended Chubb Institute, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. From 2002 to 2004, they attended NJCU, again with unspecified degree and field of study.

Additionally, Carmine Sampogna has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they received a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn. In January 2021, they earned an edX Verified Certificate for "Python Basics for Data Science" from edX. In March 2020, they obtained a CompTIA Project+ Certification from CompTIA.
