Varun Ramdas

Varun Ramdas has extensive work experience in various industries. Varun is currently working as the Director of Business Operations at CleverTap since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Freshworks as the Global Head of SI Partnerships from May 2019 to July 2022. Varun also served as a Senior Manager of Procurement & Sourcing at Biocon from July 2017 to March 2019.

Before their time at Freshworks and Biocon, Varun held a significant role at Tractors & Farm Equipment (TAFE) as the Deputy Manager of Strategic Sourcing from June 2009 to March 2016. In this position, they successfully implemented capacity enhancement programs and delivered cost savings to the company. Varun also led a team responsible for supply chain IT projects.

Varun began their career as a Summer Intern at Flowserve in the United States in 2008. Varun then worked as a Research Associate at Frost & Sullivan from August 2006 to June 2007. Early in their career, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions from August 2005 to June 2006 and as a Project Assistant at TVS Brake Linings Limited from September 2004 to April 2005.

Varun Ramdas pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning with their Bachelor's degree. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Anna University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Virginia Tech in 2007 and completed their Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering in 2008. Recently, in 2016 and 2017, Varun attended the Indian School of Business, where they obtained a Post Graduate Programme in Management degree, focusing on Marketing and Strategy.
