Samir Patel

Samir Patel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private debt and asset management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Cliffwater since January 2022, Samir specializes in private debt within the asset management team. Prior to this role, Samir held the position of Senior Vice President at Portfolio Advisors, LLC, from July 2019 to January 2022, where achievements included launching a senior direct lending business and actively participating in the investment committee. Samir's career also includes significant positions at H.I.G. Capital as Vice President, Antares Capital as Assistant Vice President, and Deloitte in mergers and acquisitions transaction services and audit. Samir holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
