Sam Zacher is a seasoned research consultant currently working at Climate Advocacy Lab since March 2021, where synthesis of academic research and political polling is utilized to inform climate advocates. As a PhD candidate at Yale University since August 2018, research focuses on American politics, public opinion, and climate politics, employing quantitative methods and GIS expertise. Prior roles include budget and policy analyst at the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting, legislative aide for State Senator Lois Court, and various positions within the Colorado Democratic Party and U.S. Senator Richard Durbin's office. Sam Zacher has contributed to notable publications and has completed internships that involved extensive research in environmental policy and political science, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Chicago.
