Charlie has over eight years of public policy experience working in London. He started as a graduate trainee for the Charityworks graduate scheme and started his career in social housing policy. For six months he was seconded to the UK Labour Party to work in the secretariat for the Lyons Housing Review.
Charlie then moved into financial policy working for a national trade association. He became the association's green finance policy lead and was a member of the Green Finance Institute's Coalition for the Energy Efficiency of Buildings, the European Mortgage Federation's EEMI, and the European Association of Cooperative Banks' Sustainability Working as well as other industry expert groups.
Charlie holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Manchester and an LLB in Law from BPP University.
