Tessa Khan

Tessa Khan is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in climate advocacy and legal analysis. Currently serving as a Board Member for Climate Breakthrough since January 2023 and as Executive Director for Uplift since January 2021, Tessa leads efforts towards a fossil fuel-free future in the UK. Tessa's prior roles include Board Trustee at Global Greengrants Fund UK and Co-Director and co-founder of the Climate Litigation Network/Urgenda. Tessa has also held positions such as Senior Program Officer at the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development and Senior Legal Analyst at the ABA Rule of Law Initiative. Tessa's legal background includes consulting for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and practicing as a solicitor at Clayton Utz. Tessa holds a BCL from the University of Oxford and dual degrees in Law (LL.B.) and Political Science/Industrial Relations from The University of Western Australia.
