Kiana Andres has a diverse work experience. From 2023 onwards, they have been working as the Regional Director - Middle East at Fidutam, where they are responsible for deploying a SIM-card-based application that provides digital identification and micro-loans for the unbanked. Kiana has successfully reached over 11,000 users across 4 continents and generated over $400,000 in profits for financially vulnerable communities. Kiana is also actively engaged with major stakeholders like local ministries, OSTP, the White House, Congress, and UN branches. Additionally, they are involved in establishing regional operations in vulnerable communities within the Middle East.
Prior to that, in 2023, Kiana served as the Deputy Director of Growth at Climate Cardinals.
From 2021 to 2023, Kiana was the President of EcoSoc ABA, where they oversaw and ran projects related to environmental sustainability. Kiana installed recycling bins and a sustainable waste management program throughout the campus, cultivated green spaces with native flora, and managed a project to install solar arrays on the school campus. Kiana gained valuable experience in presenting business proposals, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, writing business documents, and managing large teams.
In 2021, Kiana worked as a student volunteer at Sina Veterinary Clinic.
Kiana Andres attended ABA Oman International School from 2020 to 2023, where they obtained their IB High School Diploma. Kiana also obtained several additional certifications, including Child Protection Basics for International Schools from Tes in 2023, Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in 2022, The Duke of Edinburgh's Full Gold (Silver and Bronze) International Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Slovakia in 2022, and Open Water Diver from PADI in 2015.
