Alisha Maniglia

Alisha Maniglia has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alisha is currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Climate Emergency Shipping Coalition at Climate Nexus. In this role, Alisha oversees the communications efforts for a global coalition of over 20 NGOs working towards decarbonizing the maritime shipping industry.

Prior to their current position, Alisha worked as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Clayton Early Learning. During their tenure there, they successfully directed a team of four and implemented strategies that significantly increased engagement and registration in their webinar series, as well as led to a 100% growth in social media engagement within six months.

Before their time at Clayton Early Learning, Alisha served as a Communications Specialist at Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, where they mentored and directed a team of consultants and internal staff. Alisha developed and implemented strategic messaging, communications, and media plans to increase awareness and engagement with the organization's brand and story.

Alisha's earlier experience includes roles such as Marketing Coordinator at Iridex, Marketing Assistant at Apio, Inc., and Senior Market Analyst at Shopatron. Alisha also worked as a Legal Assistant at Ward & Federman and as a Human Resources Student Assistant at Cal Poly Corporation.

Furthermore, Alisha gained valuable experience as a Marketing Intern at the American Red Cross and in a marketing role at Crossroads Chiropractic.

Throughout their career, Alisha has demonstrated their ability to effectively lead teams, generate growth, and develop innovative communication strategies.

From 2006 to 2010, Alisha Maniglia attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and Psychology.
