Lauren Iverson

Lauren Iverson is a seasoned video producer with extensive experience in developing engaging content that communicates complex topics to diverse audiences. Currently serving as the Lead Video Producer at Hot & Toxic powered by the Gas Leaks Project, Lauren focuses on creating original videos that support the mission of rebranding "natural" gas as methane gas. Previous roles include Video Producer at The Verge, where Lauren co-led social video strategies and produced high-volume mobile-first stories, and Program Director at San Pablo Watershed Neighbors Education & Restoration Society, which involved community engagement and program management. With a strong background in multimedia production, Lauren has contributed significantly to notable projects at Seeker, Hack the Hood, and the University of California, showcasing a commitment to quality and creativity in media production. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Michigan and has also studied at New York University.
