Climate Social Science Network
Guy Edwards is a co-founder of the Latin America and the Caribbean Research Network at Sussex, dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable development in the region through engaged research. Currently serving as the Policy & Research Officer for the Student Sustainability Committee at the University of Sussex, Guy focuses on advancing sustainability initiatives within the university. As a PhD candidate in International Relations at the University of Sussex, Guy also contributes to the Climate Social Science Network, investigating environmental challenges in the Global South. Previous roles include senior consulting positions at the Inter-American Development Bank and serving as an external consultant for the European Commission’s EUROCLIMA+ Programme. Guy holds a BA in Classical Literature and Civilization from the University of Birmingham, a Masters in Latin American Area Studies from the University of London, and completed an executive education program at Harvard Kennedy School.
