Elin Matsumae

Elin Matsumae is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and program coordination, currently serving as a Senior Associate at ClimateWorks Foundation in the Global Intelligence team since July 2019. Prior to this role, Elin held various positions at Stanford University from October 2015 to July 2019, including Social Science Research Professional I for the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center and as an instructor for the e-Japan online course. Elin has also contributed as an intern at organizations such as the Japan Society of Northern California and the Refugee Solidarity Network, gaining experience in event promotion, social media strategy, and refugee advocacy. Elin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Kenyon College and has a background in research and analysis related to US-Japan relations and entrepreneurship.
