Monica Öberg has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources and hospitality industries since 1997. Monica began their career at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, first as an Assistant HR Director, then as a Staffing & Recruiting Manager, Benefits Manager, and Catering/CS Manager. In 2009, they became the Director of Human Resources at c/o Hotels, where they managed and maintained all Human Resource functions for the international hotel company. In 2013, they became the Owner of Stockholm's only Ilse Jacobsen Concept Store, where they were responsible for day to day operations, budget and P&L analysis, payroll & scheduling, tracking store sales and trends, merchandising and PR/marketing. In 2016, they became the Human Resources Director at Magine, where they created consistent processes, aligned the team as a business unit, and provided coaching and strategy planning. In 2017, they became the Head of Talent & Culture at Symbio Sweden, and in 2018 they became the Head of Human Resources (Europe) at Symbio. In 2020, they moved to SilverRail Technologies AB as the Managing Director and Vice President of Human Resources, and in 2022 they became the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at ClimateView.

Monica Öberg obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General from the University of North Texas.
