Karl Williams

Karl Williams is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design and mechanical engineering spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Columbia Industries since April 2016 and at Climax Portable Machine Tools since August 2007, Karl has a strong focus on shipbuilding as the lead engineer for the Ship Building SBU. Previously, Karl worked as a Mechanical Engineer at SSI Shredding Systems, Inc., from August 1993 to August 2007, specializing in custom machinery design and application engineering, and at Ford Bacon & Davis, from August 1987 to August 1993, where responsibilities included the design of hazardous waste treatment facilities and chemical process facilities. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, earned between 1983 and 1987.
