Patrick Mallon is a Design Engineer currently contributing to Climeworks, focusing on the development of direct-air-capture technology for mass-market application since October 2022. Previously, Patrick held design engineering roles at ARP Holding GmbH and notime AG, and served as Sorting Team-lead at notime (Schweiz) AG. Earlier professional experience includes freelance technical design at ISS Schüttguttechnik GmbH, where project management skills were utilized alongside design software such as Inventor and Vault, and technical design at Mite Engineering, specializing in mechanical solutions for wood pellet factories. Patrick's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Design and Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, experience as an Assistant Tutor at Nottingham Trent University provided valuable insight into architectural education.
