Amar Ali

Amar Ali has accumulated work experience in various industries and roles. Amar started their career as a Member Service Representative II at TEG Federal Credit Union in December 2012 and worked there until June 2014. After that, they served as a Graduate Assistant in the Occupational Therapy Department at LIU Brooklyn from September 2014 to May 2015. Amar then took on the role of a Marketing & Public Affairs Intern at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in January 2015, ending in May 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator at SKIP of NY from October 2015 to September 2016. Following this, they joined Bendel Youth Empowerment Program, Inc. as a Respite Worker from May 2014 to February 2017. From March 2017 to May 2019, Amar worked as a Research Coordinator at Clinical Directors Network (CDN). Amar then transitioned to The New York Foundling, where they worked as a Project Manager from June 2019 to December 2019. Currently, Amar is working as a Project Manager at Clinilabs since January 2020.

Amar Ali, MPH, PMP has a strong education background in health professions and related programs. Amar obtained their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree from Long Island University in 2015 after completing their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from the same institution in 2012. Prior to that, Amar had pursued their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities from Dutchess Community College in 2009-2009.

Alongside their formal education, Amar has also acquired additional certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In November 2013, they obtained the Emergency Management Preparedness Fundamentals certification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In January 2014, they earned the National Institutes of Health Certification of Confidentiality from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Most recently, in April 2022, Amar acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
