Emily Dammer, MFA has worked in a variety of technical writing and content management roles. Their most recent position was as a Technical Sales Content Writer at Clinisys since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Writer at CognitOps from November 2021 to April 2022. From June 2020 to November 2021, Emily served as a Technical Content Manager at DGR Systems. Emily also gained experience as a Technical Writer at Passport in February and March 2020. Earlier in their career, Emily held positions at Joerns Healthcare as a Mobile Medical Equipment (MME) Associate Product Manager from October 2019 to January 2020 and as a Product Management Associate from April 2019 to October 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Writing Intern at SentryOne from May to September 2018 and as a Technical Writer at LECO Corporation from August 2016 to May 2018.

Emily Dammer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from Hope College in 2013. Emily then went on to pursue their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato, completing this program in 2017. During their time at Minnesota State University, Mankato, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication from 2015 to 2017. In 2012, Emily participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Aberdeen.
