Matthias Martein

Matthias Martein began their work experience in 2019 as an intern at UZ Gent, where they completed an internship in LBR. In 2019, they joined YER as a Junior Field Service Engineer, a role they held until 2020. Currently, Martein works at Clinisys as a Project Engineer, responsible for customer training, installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, database management, system management, and analyzer connections.

Matthias Martein obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from HOGENT, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Matthias then pursued a Trainee program in Industrial Automation and Cybersecurity at ROVC Technische Opleidingen from 2019 to 2020. Before attending HOGENT, Matthias studied Biology at Ghent University for the academic year 2014-2015. In addition to their education, Matthias Martein obtained several certifications including ba4-ba5 from Humat Veiligheidsopleidingen, Ethical Hacking and ICS/SCADA from Security Academy, VCA-VOL from Europees Examen Instituut B.V. (EEI), and completed a Year Abroad in Honduras with AFS in 2014.
