Natalie Dorsch has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Natalie began their career as a Lab Technician at Emerson Appliance Controls, where they focused on quality testing and troubleshooting of manufactured products. Natalie was also responsible for cost reduction and product improvement projects. Natalie then moved on to Vertellus, formerly known as Reilly Industries, where they worked as a Lab Technician, testing samples from plant processes and utilizing various analytical instruments.

In 2003, Natalie joined the Marion County Health Department, initially working as an Environmental Chemist. In this role, they operated and maintained instrumentation, developed and validated methods, and processed samples using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Natalie later became the Manager of Environmental Laboratories, overseeing the Horizon LIMS system and supporting software, testing and implementing new tools, and managing a team of chemists and microbiologists. Natalie also worked as a LIMS Consultant during their time at the health department.

Following their tenure at the health department, Natalie joined Orchard Software as a Medical Technologist and Report Analyst. Here, they utilized their expertise in laboratory support and generated reports using Actuate. Natalie joined CliniSys in 2017 as a Technical Project Manager, responsible for implementing and configuring HORIZON LIMS for clients in Public Health and Environmental Labs. In addition to their technical role, they participated in committees focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion and volunteer activities within the organization.

Most recently, Natalie gained experience in the food service industry, working as a Food Service Worker at Just Love Coffee Cafe. Overall, Natalie Dorsch has extensive experience in laboratory operations, project management, report generation, and a passion for promoting DEI initiatives.

Natalie Dorsch received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Butler University, attending from 1998 to 2002. Natalie later pursued a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) degree at Duquesne University from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their education, they obtained a certification in "Strategies to Foster Inclusive Language at Work" from LinkedIn in December 2021.
