Kate Lane-Smith

Kate Lane-Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kate currently works as a Senior Product Designer at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology. Prior to this, they worked at PagerDuty where they held various roles including Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, and UX Design Intern. Before joining PagerDuty, Kate worked at WE where they held positions such as Editorial Production Manager, Manager of Executive Communications, and Writer and Editor. Additionally, they volunteered as an Online Content Editor at The Trawler.org and worked as an Editorial Intern at Virtual Team Builders. Kate also gained research and editing experience as a Research Assistant at The Orlando Project, University of Alberta, and as an Editorial Assistant at University of Toronto.

Kate Lane-Smith's education history includes various institutions and degrees. Kate completed a User Experience Design program at BrainStation. Prior to that, they attended Ryerson University from 2012 to 2015. Kate holds a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Alberta, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Kate also earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from the University of Toronto Mississauga, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained a CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute.
