Liesl Schwab

Liesl Schwab has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and data analysis. Liesl currently holds the position of Senior Software Developer at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, Liesl worked at Shaw Communications from 2017 to 2021. At Shaw Communications, they served as a Software Developer II from August 2019 to November 2021, where they coordinated projects for teams, conducted interviews and mentoring, and developed onboarding documentation. Liesl also worked as a Software Developer I from February 2018 to August 2019. Before Shaw Communications, Liesl worked at Interset in 2016 as a Data Scientist Co-op Student, analyzing data, providing statistical analysis, and building a Python tool. Liesl began their career as a Jr. Automation Engineering Co-op Student at EVRAZ North America in 2015, where they learned from plant operators and used R scripts for modeling and predictions.

Liesl Schwab received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2012 to 2018.
