Poonam Ahmed

Poonam Ahmed's work experience includes being a Security Compliance Analyst at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Compliance Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency from August 2022 to December 2022. From January 2015 to May 2017, they worked as a Tax Specialist at H&R Block. Poonam'searliest work experience was as a Teacher at Netaji Subhas Academy from August 2006 to September 2008.

Poonam Ahmed has a diverse education history in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Poonam holds a Certificate in Cybersecurity/Information Security from Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, Toronto Metropolitan University. Additionally, Poonam has obtained a Graduate Certificate in Information Security Management from Fanshawe College. Prior to these certifications, they completed a Bachelor of Education from Assam (Central) University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (Honours) from the same institution.

Poonam has also acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the cybersecurity field. Poonam is a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and holds the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC). Poonam is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board and has completed the GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) course. Poonam is also recognized as a SANS Foundations Alumni by Badgr. Furthermore, Poonam holds the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from CompTIA and Microsoft respectively.
