The Role

We are looking for a rockstar who would like to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech as a Planning & Reporting Manager for the Lending Business Unit. At Clip she/he will be responsible for leading the development of strategic plans, robust forecasting models, and funding structures.

Additionally, the role will involve ensuring the successful execution of initiatives to drive growth and ensure the sustainability of our lending business unit

The right candidate will have a passion about fostering a collaborative team environment, a deep understanding of business development in the lending industry, and will see this role as a key contributor to the strategic evolution of Clip Lending Business.

What will I be doing?

• Lead Forecasting: Direct the forecasting process to provide accurate financial projections for better decision-making.

• Business Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business performance.

• Coordinate Across Teams: Work with different departments to align planning and reporting efforts.

• Optimize Funding: Analyze funding needs and design effective funding structures for liquidity and cost-efficiency.

• Manage Strategic Execution: Monitor and manage strategic initiatives, addressing risks to ensure successful implementation.

Technical: 

• Financial Modeling: Proficient in financial modeling for forecasting and decision-making.

• Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and managerial abilities.

• Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial management systems for data management and reporting.

• Market Knowledge: Understanding of industry-relevant market dynamics and trends.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Spanish. (Portugues its a must)

Ideal Candidate 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accountant, Actuary or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).

• 5 years of experience with emphasis on planning and reporting management within the lending industry, preferably in the Fintech or traditional Banking industry.

• Live in Mexico City
