Thomas John

Thomas John has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Shift Leader at Earls Kitchen + Bar. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Business Development at Universal Geomatics Solutions Corp., where they were tasked with making outbound phone calls to both existing and potential new customers, developing and closing new business opportunities through established network and long-standing relationships, and participating in trade shows, industry events, customer entertainment activities, sales meetings, training programs and conferences as directed. In 2020, they took on the role of Business Development Team Lead at Kenect Marketing, where they were responsible for leading new business development initiatives, acquiring new clients, partners and maximizing revenue generating opportunities, and managing, training and mentoring a team of Sales Executives. Since 2022, they have been working at Clipboard Health, where they hold the roles of New Business Development and Sales Development. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2017, they were the Founder of ChaCha Johns Restaurant, where they developed business relationships throughout the city with other business owners and municipal government officials, developed relationships with over 500 dine-in guests per week by providing high-quality food and customer experience, and managed and employed staff from various backgrounds of skills, work experience and ethnicity.

Thomas John completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Public Relations at the University of Calgary. Thomas then went on to obtain an Immigration Consultant Diploma from Ashton College in 2018-2019, specializing in Immigration and Recruitment.
