Della Parsons

Della Parsons has extensive work experience in various industries. Della worked as a Crew Recruitment Director at Clipper Ventures plc - Clipper Round the World Yacht Race from 2014 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for finding, informing, inspiring, interviewing, and selecting crew members for the race. Della also worked as a Producer/Director at North One Television from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked at the British Broadcasting Corporation from 2004 to 2011 as a Production Editor. In this role, they focused on developing new ways of working and utilizing technology to provide programming with limited budgets and staff. Della also led a team in the design and build of a weather studio and satellite news-gathering truck.

Della Parsons attended The Castle School in Thornbury from 1978 to 1985. Della did not obtain a degree or specify their field of study during their time there. In terms of additional certifications, Della Parsons obtained several qualifications from the RYA/MCA. In September 2010, they obtained a certification in Short Range Radio. In November 2012, they obtained a National Powerboat Level 2 (Commerically Endorsed) certification and a Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercially Endorsed) certification. Additionally, in October 2012, they obtained a Cruising Instructor certification.
