Neil Salmond has worked in the renewable energy industry since 2009. In 2010, they were a Climate Policy Researcher for the Climate Intelligence Unit and a Consultant for Transom Enterprises. Neil also worked as a Cleantech Research Assistant for UK Trade & Investment and a Visiting Scholar for ISIS Research Centre at the Sauder School of Business. In 2009, Neil was an Intern for New Energy Finance and Better Generation. Neil also completed an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London. In 2012, Neil became a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant for Wood. In 2018, they joined Clir Renewables as a Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, VP Finance and Strategy, and VP Customer Success.
Neil Salmond completed their Bachelor of Arts in French & Linguistics from Durham University in 2004. Neil then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Linguistics from Eastern Michigan University in 2005. Finally, in 2010, they obtained their Master of Science in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
