Jason Donnell

Jason Donnell has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and software development industry. Jason began their career in 2002 as a Software Developer at PLATO Learning. From there, they worked as a Software Engineer at Travidia Inc., where they designed and developed newspaper advertising data publication software.

In 2006, Jason joined Auctiva Corp as a Team Lead, where they managed and mentored developers working on the company's flagship product. Jason later took on the role of Lead Architect, overseeing the development of various applications and mobile apps. Jason played a vital role in transforming the company's free product into a fee-based one, ensuring the company's financial stability.

In 2014, Jason started their own ventures, including Trail Run With Jason and Rim To Rim Ultras, where they served as a Coach/Owner and Race Director/Owner, respectively. During this time, they provided trail run coaching and organized ultramarathon races.

Jason also worked as an Independent Consultant at JDCS Consulting, providing consulting services in the field of information technology. Additionally, they served as a Resident Mentor at Chicostart, offering guidance and mentoring to startups and entrepreneurs at the ChicoStart business incubator.

In 2015, Jason joined California State University, Chico, where they served as an IT Analyst and later as a Project Strategist. In these roles, they managed and coordinated IT projects, implemented IT service management systems, and advised on project and portfolio management strategies.

Jason's most recent role was as the Director of DevOps at ClockShark, where they established and managed a new DevOps department to enhance operational efficiency and software delivery processes. Jason also served as the Director of Product Development, leading the formation and management of a product development department to align business strategy with product execution.

Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in software development, and a commitment to improving operational processes and delivering high-quality products.

Jason Donnell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Chico, from 1994 to 1997. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Running Coach from the Road Runners Club of America in February 2015, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in October 2013, and Certified Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise in April 2015.
