Anna Neistat

Anna Neistat is a legal expert currently serving as the Legal Director at the Clooney Foundation for Justice since February 2020. Prior to this role, Anna held the position of Senior Director for Research at Amnesty International from July 2014 to September 2019, and worked as the Associate Director Program/Emergencies at Human Rights Watch from November 2001 to July 2014. Anna's academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) from Harvard Law School (2000-2001), a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and Ph.D. from Kutafin Moscow State Law University (1997-2000), and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History and Literature from the Russian State University for Humanities (1993-1997).
