Uma Bhat has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Uma started their career at Worldscope in 1996 as a Research Analyst. Uma then moved on to Primark in 1999, where they served as a Group Leader until 2001. In 2002, they joined Thomson Financial as a Quality Control Co-Coordinator before being promoted to Group Leader in 2003.

In 2004, Uma joined Thomson Reuters and held several positions within the company. Uma began as a Team Leader from 2004 to 2006, then transitioned to Assistant Manager from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Service & Quality Manager and subsequently became the Operations Manager for India and EMEA from 2010 to 2013. Uma'sfinal role at Thomson Reuters was Senior Operations Manager from 2013 to 2015.

Most recently, Uma worked at Clootrack since 2017, initially as a Content Manager and later becoming the VP of Content Strategy and Analysis. Uma'stime at Clootrack is ongoing and they continue to contribute their expertise in content strategy and analysis.

Throughout their career, Uma has demonstrated a diverse range of skills and a strong track record of leadership, management, quality control, and research analysis.

Uma Bhat completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Commerce from Bangalore University between 1991 and 1995. Uma further pursued their studies in Cost Accountancy at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, where they obtained an Intermediate degree from 1992 to 1995. In 2000 to 2002, Uma earned an M.Com degree in Commerce from Karnataka State Open University.

Additionally, Uma Bhat has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Uma is an Inbound Marketing Certified professional from the HubSpot Academy, which they achieved in September 2022. Uma has also completed ISO 9001-2000 Internal Quality Auditor Training by the IIQ Systems, and they hold a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Thomson Reuters.
