James Davies

James Davies has extensive experience in the investment management sector, currently serving as a Fund Manager for Close Brothers Asset Management since April 2011. In this role, James manages the Close Discretionary Funds and oversees segregated and in-house managed portfolios, while also performing senior fund research duties with a focus on long-only collectives and UCITS alternatives. Prior to this, from August 2003 to April 2011, James was the Investment Research Manager at Chartwell Group Ltd, where responsibilities included fund research, investment copy production, and managing discretionary model portfolios. James holds a BScEcon degree in International Relations from Aberystwyth University, earned between 1995 and 1998.
