Justin Westplate

Justin Westplate has a strong background in quality assurance and testing. Justin currently holds the position of Head of Quality at CloseSimple, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at tapQA from 2017 to 2023, where they held various roles including Quality Assurance Lead and Senior Test Engineer. In these positions, they created and executed test plans, performed manual system integration testing, and ensured data validation between internal applications and SQL databases. Prior to tapQA, Justin worked at Activision from 2005 to 2017, where they held roles such as Manager of Functional Test and QA Project Lead. During this time, they managed testing teams, trained new hires, and led projects from design to submission.

Justin Westplate attended Cedarburg Highschool from 1997 to 2001. During this time, they did not receive a degree and did not specialize in any particular field of study. From 2001 to 2006, they then enrolled at The Art Institutes International Minnesota, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation.
