Alberto Medellin

Alberto Medellin has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Alberto began their career in 1991 as a Senior Call Center Manager for Zacson Training. In 1999, they became a Senior IT Specialist for Competix. In 2001, they were a Help Desk Specialist for Computer Science Corporation. From 2003 to 2009, they held multiple roles at Raytheon|Websense, including Senior IT Support Specialist, Desktop Systems Specialist, and Help Desk Analyst III. From 2009 to 2021, they worked at Forcepoint, first as an ITSM Manager and IT Service Now Administrator and then as a Service Quality Management Analyst II and ITSM Manager. In 2021, they joined ClosingCorp as a Senior Systems Engineer - Microsoft Azure. Currently, they are a Senior Professional Systems Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for CoreLogic.

Alberto Medellin began their educational journey in 1983 when they attended St. Elizabeth's High School until 1986. In 1990, they went on to Chabot College and obtained an Associates Arts Degree in Architecture Technology in 1994. In 2005, they attended Vortex Data Systems and earned an IT Certified in Information Systems Infrastructure in 2007. In 2018, they obtained their ITIL Fundation Certified in IT Service Management from Omnikron. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a How to Stand Out Remotely from LinkedIn in December 2021 and a Micro-Certification - Performance Analytics and Reporting from ServiceNow in December 2019.
