Paul Cassidy

Paul Cassidy has over 25 years of work experience. Paul began their career in 1991 as a Manager at Halligan's Pub & Pool, where they were responsible for nighttime operating hours, hosted local nightly billiards tournaments, and handled customer relations. In 1993, they moved to Computer 101, Inc. as an Account Representative, where they were responsible for ordering and selling computers and computer-related equipment and software, configuring computers for individuals and businesses, and maintaining customer databases and information on the latest computer industry items. In 1994, they joined the Florida Department of Transportation as an Email Administrator and Senior Network Design Specialist, where they designed, developed, and implemented multiple network environments statewide for the department, was a Microsoft Windows NT Domain Administrator, and a Novell NetWare 3.12 System Administrator. Paul was also responsible for multiple department server backups. In 1998, they joined the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation as an Information Systems Manager, where they were a Microsoft Windows NT Administrator and supported the internal network, upgraded the entire network from Novell to Windows NT, and was a FoxPro Database Coordinator. Paul also joined Computer Aid, Inc. in 1998 as an Information Technology Specialist, where they performed subcontract work for the Florida DOT on the Enterprise E-mail team and migrated over 8,000 users statewide from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange 2007. Paul also served as a Symantec Brightmail Gateway Admin, responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting Symantec Brightmail Gateway running Linux OS on VMware. In 2018, they joined Hayes Computer Systems as a Systems Engineer and Cloud Navigator as a Customer Service Manager. In 2020, they joined the Florida Division of Emergency Management as an Email Systems Administrator and Cloud Navigator as an Office 365 Migration Specialist.

Paul Cassidy is currently studying Computer Science at Tallahassee Community College. Paul has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) Cert Prep: 3 Understanding Microsoft Security Solutions from LinkedIn in November 2022, Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100 from FEMA in April 2022, Exchange 2016: Mailbox Databases from LinkedIn in July 2021, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in December 2014, and MCSA: Office 365 from Microsoft in December 2014.
