Alex Shastakovich

Alex Shastakovich has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alex is currently an Engineering Manager at Cloudbeds since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at SAY.BY from May 2019. Alex founded a non-commercial organization and managed multiple teams, including speech recognition development and app/backend development teams. From March 2015 to December 2021, Alex worked at Iron Mountain as an Information Technology Team Lead. In this role, they led a team of 15 individuals and was responsible for setting up management and scrum processes, as well as customer interactions. Alex simultaneously held the position of Team Leader at LLSOFT Ltd. from March 2015 to November 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Project Manager at Forte Group Inc. from October 2014 to March 2015. From February 2009 to October 2014, Alex worked as the CTO at DutyCalculator, and prior to that, they were a Unit Coordinator at Itransition from November 2005 to October 2014. During their time at Itransition, they started as a developer and eventually became a Unit Coordinator, with responsibilities including process setup, project management, and team leadership in the e-commerce sector.

Alex Shastakovich attended Belarusian State Economic University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Optimal information systems of planning and management in economics. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Alex also acquired the certification of Donor of Belarusan Language from SAY.BY in May 2021 and became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in April 2013.
