Maochao Xu

Maochao Xu is currently a Cyber Risk Advisor at CloudCover. Prior to that, they were a Cyber insurance advisor at Safe Security from November 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they were an Assistant/Associate Professor at Illinois State University from August 2010 to June 2020. Maochao has also worked as a Research Associate at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research from June 2010 to August 2010.

Maochao Xu has a wealth of experience in statistics and data mining. Maochao has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in statistics and has researched in data mining and statistical modeling/predictive modeling. Maochao has also developed cybersecurity insurance models and related pricing strategies. Additionally, they have created statistic software and user-interfaces.
