John Pearce

John Pearce is a seasoned cybersecurity and privacy expert with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal in Cybersecurity & Privacy and Cyber Risk Advisory at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC since August 2017, John previously held the position of Director of Cybersecurity Consulting at PwC from November 2011 to July 2017. Prior to that, John was a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity Consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton and also worked as a Systems Engineer at Qwest Communications. Early career roles include Network Operations Control Center Manager at North American Telecommunications Corporation and Signals Intelligence/Ground Electronic Warfare Officer in the United States Marine Corps. John holds a Graduate Certificate in Information Security Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute.
