Susan Hobbs

Susan Hobbs is the current Chief of Staff to the CEO & COO at Cloudflare. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Global Programming at TechCrunch from August 2011 to July 2015. Before their work at TechCrunch, Susan was the Head of Sales and Customer Success at CoTweet, Inc / ExactTarget from December 2009 to August 2011.

Earlier in their career, Susan worked as a Master Teacher at Columbus Elementary School from September 1996 to August 1999, and then as a Teacher at Manzanita Elementary School from August 1999 to July 2000. In July 2016, they became a Partner at CrunchFund, where they invested in early stage companies. In May 2015, Susan joined Y Combinator as the Director of Programming, a role they held until June 2016.

Susan Hobbs earned their Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies for Elementary Education from San Diego State University. Susan went on to earn their Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the same school.
