Oliver Johnston

Oliver Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Oliver'smost recent role was as a Solutions Architect at Cloudhouse, starting in May 2023.

Prior to that, Oliver spent a significant portion of their career at Pearson, where they held the position of Solution Architecture Design Manager | UK AWS Cloud Transformation from November 2018 to April 2023. In this role, they established a team of 6 architects and provided governance, guidance, and tooling frameworks for a larger team of over 30 individuals.

Before joining Pearson, Oliver worked at SThree for 20 years, starting in 1998. During their time there, they held various positions, including Principal Technical Solutions Architect, Senior SAP Solutions Lead, SAP Basis/Technical Lead, IT Support and Process Innovation, Documentation Officer/MS Office VBA Developer, and Data Administration.

Oliver's early career began at Tesco, where they worked as a Trainee Retail Manager from October 1996 to November 1998.

Oliver Johnston attended Palmers College from 1996 to 1998, and William Edwards School from 1990 to 1995. Oliver did not obtain any degrees or specify a field of study for either school. In addition to their education, Oliver has obtained several certifications. In October 2014, they received the SAP Enterprise Service Orientated Architecture (TOGAF) - Associate certification from SAP. In August 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services, and in June 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification, also from Amazon Web Services.
