Jay Leek

Jay Leek is a Managing Director for ClearSky Security, a VC fund focused solely on security investing and is also currently consulting with Blackstone around their portfolio company CISO community and other areas related to information security. He is also the lead investor in CloudKnox Security. Jay is the former CISO for Blackstone, where he also worked with their information security investments. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2012, he established, built and headed up global information risk and security programs for Equifax and Nokia. Throughout the past 19 years, Jay has also worked as a product manager for information security vendors as well as a consultant to numerous telecom companies, government agencies, and financial institutions, assisting them with business development, strategic planning and architectural design required to meet their information risk and security objectives.

Jay holds a B.S. from Capella University in information assurance and security, and is a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Systems Auditor. He currently serves as a member of the boards of directors for Demisto, CyberGRX, IntSights, ProtectWise, RedOwl, Verodin and the NY Metro ISSA Chapter and is a board observer of Cylance.
