Panagiotis Toumpaniaris

Panagiotis Toumpaniaris started their work experience in the year 2000 as a System and Network Administrator at Reporter Images Ltd. Panagiotis then worked as the Head of the I.T. Department at HIT (Hospitality Integrated Technologies) S.A. from January 2003 to February 2005. Panagiotis also served as an Independent Contractor at HIT S.A. from March 2005 to June 2006.

Following that, Panagiotis worked as an Assistant Manager at Water Irrigation and Control from July 2006 to September 2011. Panagiotis then joined PERFORMANCE Technologies S.A. as a System Engineer, where they specialized in Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V Cluster, VMWare ESXi 5.5 Cluster, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu server administration, and physical server maintenance. Panagiotis worked at PERFORMANCE Technologies S.A. from October 2017 to March 2018.

In September 2018, Panagiotis started working for Vodafone as a SYU System Engineer. Panagiotis then became a System Architect, responsible for analyzing, designing, and managing the delivery of hardware and network infrastructure, as well as planning system upgrades to meet Vodafone standards. From July 2019 to November 2021, they served as a Cloud Architect at Vodafone, where they designed and deployed cloud-ready and cloud-native solutions, and handled the cloudification of Vodafone Greece.

Panagiotis took a sabbatical from November 2021 to January 2022 to prepare for relocation. Panagiotis then joined Cloudreach, an Eviden business, in January 2022 as a Cloud Architect. Currently, as of April 2023, they hold the position of Senior Cloud Architect at Cloudreach, where they lead a DevOps as a Service project on AWS and works as a Cloud Architect on an infrastructure migration project on Azure.

Panagiotis Toumpaniaris obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, which they attended from 2013 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications from different institutions. Panagiotis acquired certifications from Google in areas such as automating infrastructure on Google Cloud with Terraform, building and securing networks in Google Cloud, deploying and managing cloud environments with Google Cloud, optimizing costs for Google Kubernetes Engine, and performing foundational infrastructure tasks in Google Cloud. Panagiotis also obtained certifications from Google Cloud Skills Boost in cloud architecture, setting up and configuring a cloud environment in Google Cloud, creating and managing cloud resources. Furthermore, they obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert. Additionally, they hold the Well-Architected Proficient certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google Cloud - Minnesota. Panagiotis has also gained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as consulting foundations, client management and relationships, critical roles consultants play, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, building virtual accountability, interviewing techniques, and owning executive presence. Lastly, they hold the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2021 Certified Architect Professional certification from Oracle.
