CloudSEK’s Product Suite:
- CloudSEK XVigil constantly maps a customer’s digital assets, identifies threats and enriches them with cyber intelligence, and then provides workflows to manage and remediate all identified threats including takedown support.
- A powerful Attack Surface Monitoring tool that gives visibility and intelligence on customers’ attack surfaces. CloudSEK's BVigil uses a combination of Mobile, Web, Network and Encryption Scanners to map and protect known and unknown assets.
- CloudSEK’s Contextual AI SVigil identifies software supply chain risks by monitoring Software, Cloud Services, and third-party dependencies.
About Job Role
Passionate about cybersecurity and the power of storytelling? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our fast-paced team in a dual role as Cyber News Editor & Communication Manager. This exciting opportunity combines your technical writing skills with your PR expertise, allowing you to make a real impact in the rapidly evolving world of cybersecurity.
As the Cyber News Editor, you will:
- Uncover and share the latest cybersecurity threats: Break news, write in-depth articles, and simplify complex technical stories for a broader audience.
- Analyze intelligence, find patterns, and tell compelling narratives: Derive insights from threat data and translate them into engaging stories that educate and inform.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor the news cycle, attend industry events, and keep your finger on the pulse of the cybersecurity landscape.
- Publish with precision: Edit, proofread, and ensure accuracy in both technical and non-technical content.
- Engage your audience: Create social media posts and other engaging content based on daily threat intelligence findings.
As the Communication Manager, you will:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with global media: Develop and execute our global PR strategy, manage press releases, and secure media placements.
- Become a voice for CloudSEK: Craft compelling pitches, draft thought leadership articles, and represent our company in the public eye.
- Master the art of storytelling: Understand your target audience and develop content that resonates with them.
- Collaborate with the team: Work closely with stakeholders, writers, and other team members to achieve our communication goals.
- Keep the wheels turning: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Who you are:
- A self-driven individual with a passion for both technical writing and PR.
- Someone with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A creative thinker who can break down complex topics into clear and engaging narratives.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A stickler for accuracy and detail.
- Someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in PR or journalism (preferred).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity is a bonus.
