Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Management Accountant is responsible for monthly management reporting for 3 entities within the CloudSense group (Australia, Singapore and Croatia). Reporting into the Financial Controller the role also works closely with VP Finance and other members of the Finance Team and the broader business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced business operating in a global environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Production of monthly management reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Bank reconciliations and cash reporting

  • P&L and BS variance analysis vs budget/prior periods with commentary

  • Oversee group AP and liaise with suppliers (1 direct report - AP Assistant)

  • Being PO and AP process owner and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time

  • Prepare VAT / Sales Tax returns for Singapore and Australia entities

  • Assist in year-end Group and local audits

  • Ad hoc project work as required

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA or local equivalent

  • Degree Educated preferable

Required skills

  • Previously held a Senior  Accountant role

  • SME experience as well as larger organisations with a global footprint

  • System and process orientated

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong Excel skills

Desired skills

  • Experience in organisations with a global footprint / multi-currency environment

  • Understanding of SaaS / Tech

  • Sage Intacct Accounting System / SalesForce CRM
