James Dougharty

James Dougharty has worked in the software engineering industry since 1986. James began their career as a Software Engineer at E-Systems in 1986, before moving to Texas Instruments as a Sr. Software Engineer in 1989. In 1997, they began working at Sabre Holdings as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they wrote Java applications using AJAX and JSON. In 2004, they moved to HP and worked as a Sr. Software Engineer, writing C++ applications for major airlines. In 2010, they returned to Sabre Holdings and worked as a Sr. Software Engineer. In 2013, they worked as a Principal Software Architect at XOcur, where they created the architecture for a python web application and API, as well as a recommendation engine for cloud based virtual machines and clusters. In 2016, they began working at HyperGrid as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead.

James Dougharty attended Lamar University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
